This week all I could think about were dolls, vintage dolls, haunted dolls, Heidi Ott dolls, Dawn dolls and my favorite new doll find vintage wooden polish dolls. I just can't stop buying them, they come with the cutest most colorful outfits and always look happy.
After my accidental finding of a haunted doll last week (which still no one has bought) I managed to find another one in a favorite vintage shop here in Vermont. She looked haunted when I bought her but she came with the most amazing vintage wadrobe and reminded me of the blond actresses in Hitchcock movies. It wasn't until I started dressing her in her different outfits to photograph that I realized she had a good energy and really seemed to like being talked to while I changed her outfits. She is wearing the tye-dyed blue cotton summer dress and a straw hat with a pink ribbon right now just waiting for her forever home.
I am headed to New Hampshire to visit my family for the 4th of July weekend that is why I had my sale early. I just recieved 3 vintage Dawn dolls today in excellent condition and can't wait to post them but I have to pack so they might have to wait until I get back. I am also going to start having at least a few Heidi Ott dolls in the shop as regularly as possible. I get them from Australia so it takes awhile for them to get here.
My before 4th of July sale ends in two hours so if you haven't taken advantage of the discounts you still can.
